The wallaby bait stations are used by conservation groups, regional councils, community groups and New Zealand’s primary industries to control wallaby numbers.
The bait station has an enlarged opening at the front to allow wallabies to feed. It has a large capacity of up to 1,600g of pelleted bait. This is advantageous in remote locations, when access to refill the bait station can be time consuming.
The bait station will keep your bait dry and active, ensuring a lethal dose can be consumed. Hand broadcasting bait is illegal and can be consumed by non-target animals, this practice also wastes money as the bait becomes unpalatable in the wet.
Outside of the wallaby control season, the Philproof® wallaby bait station same can also be used to control possums and rodents. It can be easily modified with Philproof ® baffles to prohibit birds and/or possums from feeding during a rodent control operation. Spikes can be fitted through the floor of this bait station so that it holds blocked bait in place to prevent rodents from stockpiling.
The bait station will keep your bait dry and active, providing a lethal dose for rabbit consumption.
