The Philproof® Multi-Pest Bait Station is the first bait station specifically designed to target different pest species separately and safely using a single platform. No other bait station on the market offers this level of flexibility while keeping bait dry, secure, and out of reach of non-target animals.

It combines the proven features of the Philproof® Rodent and Possum Bait Stations, with additional design innovations that allow targeted control of possums, rats and mice — all from one robust, field-proven station.

A wider and longer floor than the Mini Possum station, with strategically placed ribs and holes to allow for the fitting of a rope, it is designed to encourage rodent access while preventing possums from consuming rodent bait. As possums become familiar with the station — often through scraps left by rodents — the same rib configuration can later be used to accommodate cyanide or other acute toxins as part of a targeted possum control programme.

How It Works

The Multi-Pest Bait Station uses a reversible internal floor system that controls how different pest species access bait. By configuring the station correctly, users can ensure that only the intended target species can reach the bait type being used.

Crucially, it prevents possums accessing rodent bait, such as pindone. A single possum can consume most — or all — of a rodent bait station’s contents in one night without ingesting a lethal dose, resulting in significant bait loss and poor control outcomes.

Its waterproof construction further ensures bait remains dry and attractive, maximising consumption by target pests and minimising waste.

Safety & Responsible Use

All toxic baits must be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s label and safety data sheet (SDS).

Bait stations should be:

• Firmly secured to prevent tipping or removal
• Positioned to minimise access by non-target animals
• Serviced regularly to remove old or degraded bait
• Signposted where required in public or shared areas

Avoid ground spillage during servicing, and always wear appropriate protective equipment when refilling or handling bait.
