Philproof ® Rodent Bait Station

The Philproof® Rodent Bait Station is applicable when possum, rabbit or wallaby control is not required. These units are specifically designed to favour rodent access and hold bait blocks or pellets. Two spikes are supplied to secure hollow centred bait such as Brigand, Ditrac or Contrac, with room for up to 9 bait blocks (depending on the brand). The spikes are ribbed, ensuring the bait does not fall off in the event the bait station is knocked over. When using multi-feed bait, e.g. Ditrac, having up to 9 bait blocks in a station helps to ensure a lethal dose is consumed.

The Philproof® Rodent is both tree and ground mountable, though most effective when on the ground as rodents have better access. The bait station includes three outer lugs to secure the station to the ground, making it secure and preventing non-targets from accessing the bait such as pets. There are no holes on the bottom side or back of the rodent bait station to secure the trees. Large hungry possums can knock over the bait station even when pinned to the ground.

Alternatively, pelleted bait can also be used, as the internal baffle prevents bait spillage.
